Olive Update! Feb 29, 2012
Hey guys! Not much new to report… I’m still €750 short of getting Olive out of the vet and I’m getting that sinking feeling that I am running out of time very quickly.
I have two postings up on Reddit, I’m tweeting my ass off to people (and probably annoying them in the process…) and still trying to make sure as many people see this so I can hopefully get her home...

Olive Update! Feb 25th, 2012
Hello Interwebs! Through my two new Reddit posts that went up yesterday, I was able to collect another €205 for Olive’s vet bills/puppy bail, leaving me with €790 to come up with. I’d like to get this tied up in the next two days so she can be home at the beginning of the month, so please help out with anything you can!

Olive Update - Feb 24th, 2012
Hey guys! Nothing much new to report… Feeling a little bit better now that I’ve told you guys my background story so I don’t feel like I’m hiding anything.

OLIVE UPDATE!!!! Feb 20th, 2012
What a day!!!
Over the past 2 days I was able to raise €300 towards Olives “puppy bail” which put me €1000 short of her total owed. I took the money that I had into the vet today and had a really long chat with the vet. I explained the situation with having no other options to get the money together and I think we’ve come to an agreement.
He is NOT going to turn Olive over...

SATURDAY UPDATE!
Okay so the vet isn’t even in today haha… It’s Carnival weekend so the clinic is closed. YAY!! That means I have until Monday. Stress is a little off now, but I still need to hustle! More thorough update soon :)

Nothing new to report today… I went to go and visit Olive at the vet for a few hours ( as I do everyday) and it’s getting harder and harder to leave her there… Please help with whatever you can. After scream-crying at my vets office with the €50 in hand that I had managed to raise via Reddit (THANK YOU!!) The vet has given me until Saturday morning CET to get Olive out. Olive Update - Feb 11th, 2012
I had a terrible conversation with the vet earlier today. Olive is doing fine but he is getting extremely fed up with her being there and has said that if I don’t have at least €400 of the bill for him by Monday, that he’ll start paperwork to surrender her to the shelter.

Olive Update - Feb 10th, 2012
Well, without sounding like a broken record, I don’t even know what to say. Olive has been at the vet for going on three weeks now, and SHE NEEDS TO COME HOME. I feel like this is a hostage situation. I miss her. The vet is getting fed up and is threatening to turn her over to a shelter where I’d lose her forever.
PLEASE help if you can, I haven’t received any donations at all...

OLIVE UPDATE! February 8th, 2012
WAAAH What a sad day. I went to go see Olive and she is doing okay but I can’t spend more than an hour or two with her at a time because of the vet office hours and my schedule… She cried SO loud when I left today. Broke my heart and obviously is shattering hers.
I still owe the full amount to the vet and have yet to raise any money towards my goal.
I don’t know what else...

Canada to POISON WOLVES in Order to Preserve...
This is absolutely disgusting. SO… Civilization has once again fucked up and because of development of a 1700 mile Oil Pipeline being built from Alberta to Texas, the Caribou population is shrinking. Braindead solution: Poison the wolves who rely on Caribou for a large part of their diet.
… REALLY??? Also, hunters pay a pretty penny for hunting licences and the “solution”...

Olive Update - Feb 6th, 2012
Hey guys!
Olive is continuing to do well, still not putting on weight but eating more and keeping it down every day which is AMAZING.
It’s more important than ever for her to get home… The vet agrees that once she’s in her bed and her house with smells she recognizes she will get back to 100% in no time! He’s also getting tired of her being there and taking up kennel...

OLIVE UPDATE! - Feb 2, 2012
Hellooooo!
So the good news first - Olive is doing MUCH better. She is able to come home at any time and is eating small amounts of soft food and has stopped losing weight, although she has not gained any back yet. She is on supplements and an appetite increaser that she is being weaned off of, but is sloooooowly getting back to somewhat normal… YAY!!! :’) And the vet (as of 20 mins...

Another Olive Update: January 23rd, 2012

Just heard from the vet… Olive is still on her IV drip because she is still not drinking and still has not eaten anything at all since her surgery. They tried to give her some squishy puppy type food via a syringe a few times today and she threw it up within 5 mins. They aren’t sure what is wrong.

Olive Update! - January 18th, 2012
Through the miracle that is the internet (stop SOPA!!) I have received an unimaginable amount of support from my friends and perfect strangers in the last few days. I never thought that I would have gotten half of the response that I have gotten through my tweets and blog posts, and it seriously renews my faith in humanity and does show that anything is possible.
